Help Me Believe In Anything

I spent the day working on and off on a writing sample, on trying to sublet the apartment I have recently acquired but cannot afford, and contemplating what skills I actually may or may not possess.

Lee, Rachel and Andy's dog, kept my company while they were out doing wedding registery things. He is a fairly easygoing fellow. If he poops in the morning, it's considered a success, and he does not have the autonomy to blame himself for a lack of self-control in terms of dietary intake.

That life seems better, at the moment. I try not to worry, but these days it's kind of difficult.

  1. dont say that- you're vanitha! i'm sure i dont need to tell you but you know it will all work out- and i'm more than sure it will... because you are vanitha and this is just a phase in your life as you sort out some big things (housing/job)- but this is a great opportunity for you to feel more certain about it all once you've settled it- it's a time for you to get to know the sitting better by traveling around new york for everything... it's always easier to have a more hopeful view of things from an outside perspective- but like i said- i'm sure you know but- everything is going to work itself out :)
    love,

  2. WOW- um... i meant to say 'for you to get to know the CITY better'... that's what i get for writing this in the middle of work and attempting to complete a comment several times...

ugh- i think you get the jist of what i'm saying... I should have written the comment NOW- not a few minutes ago.

I can't wait to come visit you in new york.... haha, btw, i'm coming to visit you eventually- cause i've been dying to come to new york... (i typed in work instead of york *shakes head at self* maybe i should get back to it...)

  3. Thanks for the kind words, Leyla :) I did understand what you mean. It's nice to have that outside perspective. I'm looking forward to your visit. The nice thing about living here is that people always want to visit, or at least claim they do.

Btw, I did read your posts (all of them), I just read them through the subscriptions and have been bad about commenting. Sorry. But - :) I shan't write anymore here..
