Having spent a nice weekend in the Bay Area, but also having what seems to be an almost-sore throat, I've spent today resting and reading. Some articles of note:
Berkeley makes the NYT again, this time for the tree debate surrounding the proposed new athletic training center for Cal.
Ethanol seems to be the talk of the town these days.
I spent 9 hours getting from Granite Bay to Berkeley because of this accident. We're lucky, though. Kushan and I ended up leaving at noon because it took longer than expected to do some work on his car. If we had left as planned, we would have been in Vacaville around when the accident occurred, instead of being stuck (safely) in traffic for a few hours.
Raw milk might cure my eczema, even though the FDA is suspicious.
In other, less publicized news, I sent in my MDRC application today and am feeling hopeful. Cross your fingers for me.
